Full Screen Hammer Mills
CSE Bliss offers full circle screen hammer mills that meet the demands of heavy-duty applications. Delivering precision and durability, these machines are ideal for efficiently reducing biomass materials, delivering consistent, high-quality output. Available in various sizes and configurations, our hammer mills are customizable to suit different processing requirements.
Hammer mills work on the principle that most materials will crush, shatter, or pulverize upon impact. Material is fed into the mill’s chamber through the feed chute, typically by gravity, where it is struck by ganged hammers attached to a shaft that rotates at high speed inside the mill’s grinding chamber. The material is crushed or shattered by a combination of repeated hammer impacts, collisions with the walls of the grinding chamber, and particle on particle impacts. Perforated metal screens or bar grates covering the discharge opening of the mill retain coarse material for further grinding, while allowing properly sized materials to pass.

With models and sizes, CSE Bliss can meet your particle size specifications and production rates with units available from 15 to 500 horsepower.

• Designed to minimize noise and vibration
• Made to remove the rotor from the side without the need to remove bearings from the shaft
Doors:
• Sliding doors move out of the way with ease offering full access to the grinding chamber.
• Made from 3/8″ thick A-36 plate.
Hammers:
• Flexible configurations to suite any application
• Versatile hammer styles for a precision grind
Bearings:
• Standard two-piece bearings with a taper lock to secure the bearing to the shaft for additional safety.
Internal Wear Parts:
• Easily replaceable wear plates to assure protection and longer life of the mill
Rotors:
• Machined and balanced with spanner nuts.
• Precision balanced and tested at operating speed to assure vibration tolerance and a problem free startup.
Spring Loaded Screen Carriages:
• Made to last longer and hold shape.
• Laser cut for a precision fit to the wear plate.
